The saga of Ricky and Lucy continues.
Last time I photographed this nest, there was a baby eagle peering out of it.
Tragically, that baby vanished one day, a victim of some mysterious fate – there one day, gone the next.
Nature is a cruel master.
Well Ricky and Lucy are back, and despite last years tragic circumstances, are currently hard at work fortifying the nest for the next nesting season.
Let’s hope for a better result next time.
