The haze you see in this shot is not fog.
No, we are socked in with smoke from awful wildfires burning just north of us, in British Columbia.
The smoke has stolen our fresh air, and turned what should be a brilliant blue sky Summer day, along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, into a downright ugly and unpleasant day.
It’s not fit for man or beast out there.
Thoughts and prayers go out to all of those affected by these fires, and the firefighters on the front lines.
