In the spirit of not falling into a photography rut, I was intent on capturing something other than an eagle today. So when I was fortunate enough to get a good some good shots of a cormorant down by the water, I was pretty happy.
That all changed when I ran across these two majestic eagles sitting in a tree close to the road on my way home.
When a scene such as this is revealed to you, you just don’t pass it up.
