It’s a downright blustery day here in Western Washington.
Adventurous souls that we are, Sammy and I braved the bluster and took a little trip to the Dungeness Recreation Area to get our daily photos.
We walked along a trail overlooking the bluffs that look out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Today’s photos capture the view we enjoyed from a certain spot along the trail, both froward and backward.
Our view forward was toward Port Angeles and the cloud shrouded Olympic Mountains.
Looking backward you can see the initial leg of the Dungeness Spit in the distance, on which the New Dungeness Lighthouse sits.
65 down, 300 to go 🙂
stark and stunning!
Thank you Cindy.
