This is how it happened this morning –
The first golden rays of sun
Shine through the cherry blossoms
Stretching slowly across the world at large
A fresh new day is dawned
Immeasurable in meaning and possibility
Beckoning to be recognized and seized upon.
Here I stand in the middle
A witness to the daily miracle
Drawing breath and giving thanks
Grateful to be right here, right now
Early morning brings magic with it
I humbly pass it along to you.
