Have you ever had the experience where you’re reading a book and you come across something that is so powerful, so timely, and hits so very close to home, that it could have been written specifically for you? Specifically for this moment in time?
I have.
In fact, it’s something that seems to happen for me on a semi-regular basis.
Most recently, while reading The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, by Bronnie Ware, I came across the (highlighted) passages below, which spoke to me on a profound level.
It occurred to me that if it struck such a strong chord with me, perhaps you might benefit from it as well.
With that thought in mind, I offer it to you – Was I right? Isn’t that good stuff? Worth reading again and again? Worth mentally feasting on until it becomes a part of your DNA?
Our lives. Our choice. Our responsibility. Let’s make the most of it.
Life IS too short to watch it go by! This year has been a year of facing fear for me, and amazing things are happening because I decided to be brave. Here’s to making the most of it!
You “decided to be brave.” I love that Dee! You won’t mind if I borrow that little slogan. Here’s to making the most of it indeed!!!
Of course I don’t mind! I’m sure I’ll have to borrow one of yours along the way… 😉
