A Self-Help Failure

That’s me!

I have been a dedicated student of the Self-Help genre for many years. I bought into the whole lie. Hook, line, and sinker.

I have, quite literally, read hundreds of books on the subject. I have listened to the programs, watched the videos, subscribed to the magazines, and accumulated a vast reservoir of knowledge on the subject. And while I have experienced momentary inspiration from time to time, I have not been able to create any substantial and lasting improvement in my life. Zip. Zero. Nada.

Why? Because Self-Help is today’s snake oil – promising to cure what ails you, but failing miserably. And all too often only working to enrich those who are peddling it.

So to Self-Help, I can only say this –

I quit!
